We need a contemporary insurrection to reclaim our democracy, our freedom and our country.
We must challenge corporations and take back what is rightfully ours.
The second American Revolution. Let’s declare our independence from corporate rule!
Decades of deregulation and laissez-faire capitalist ideology have allowed corporations to steer the world's political, economic, environmental and cultural agendas.
A corporation is not a person.
A corporation is not a person.
It’s an organizational structure that has no morality and feels no remorse.
Yet the modern corporation enjoys the same rights as you or I: free speech, the ability to own property, the right to lobby government officials and protection against self-incrimination
Obama White House Versus CIA - Panetta has reportedly chafed at reporting through the director of National Intelligence, Dennis Blair.

"Profanity-laced screaming match" at the White House involving CIA Director Leon Panetta, and expected release of another damning internal investigation about torturing detainees during interrogations
Panetta was reportedly upset over plans by Attorney General Eric Holder to open a criminal investigation of allegations that CIA officers broke the law in carrying out certain interrogation techniques that President Obama has termed "torture."

Stop Toxin-Laden Wastewater Dump in Our Streams! - ThePetitionSite.com
In 2002, Bush administration issued a rulemaking that effectively removed Clean Water Act protection, permitting mining companies to fill our nation's waterways with the toxin-laden waste material.
Congress enacted the Clean Water Act in 1972, which allowed the filling of waterways for constructive purposes, such as dams or levees. But protected waterways from being used as waste disposal sites.
On June 22, 2009, the Supreme Court ruled that the Clean Water Act permits a mining company to pump hundreds of thousands of gallons per day of toxic wastewater slurry into an Alaskan lake, killing its fish and aquatic life.
The passage of Clean Water Protection Act, H.R. 1310 will ensure lakes, rivers, streams and wetlands are not destroyed by industrial waste dumping by passing. We must ensure that we won't have another catastrophe like the one occurring right now in Alaska.

President Eisenhower warns of the military industrial complex. "We must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence,
"The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exits, and will persist. We must never let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or democratic processes. We should take nothing for granted.
Only an alert and knowlledgeable citizenry can compel the proper meshing of the huge industrial military missionary of defense with our peaceful methods and voters. So that security and liberty may prosper together.

9/11, Ron Paul, Allies in Congress - Gary Clift, Cynthia McKinney
I would think that Ron Paul should take as unequivocal a stand for 9/11 Truth as Cynthia McKinney has done. He has clearly not done so!
In fact, where was he when Cynthia McKinney held hearings on the issue?
He did not even co-sponsor the hearings which brought David Ray Griffin, Michael Ruppert, and other 9/11 researchers, family victims, and witnesses to testify!
He was AWOL! So who needs allies in Congress?
At least he is clear about the wars for corporate empire, and somewhat on the mark about the Constitution created by the wealthy and the Bill of Rights won in bits and pieces through popular struggle.
However, his "libertarian" laissez-faire capitalist position offers no real remedy to corporate consolidation of power over the economy as well as over "our" government.
His mantra is old, boring, and irrelevant. Why can't 9/11 Truthers see these things? Baffled!
Vic
Ron Paul needs allies in congress, other representatives who will not have to be hounded to co- sponsor bills, but standing at his side from day one on the issues, and crafting their own bills to scale back government. A special election is being held in California's 10th congressional district. Gary Clift can be just that ally that Ron Paul desperately needs. Gary considers himself a constitutionalist above all else, has been endorsed by http://EndTheFed.us, the Peace Freedom & Prosperity Movement, Ron Paul's Caucus - the Republican Liberty Caucus, and http://RetakeCongress.com - Gary proudly calls himself a Ron Paul Republican. Isn't that the kind of representative you want in D.C. ? Isn't that worth a little time and effort to make sure he gets elected? Early voting in this special election began August 3rd, and election day is September 1st. Time is short on this one! Gary's website - http://cliftforcongress.com/ |
From Gary -
With the dedication of the liberty movement across the nation for this special election, we can win this low turnout election. What I need is phone callers desperately. If we can get the word out through phone calls, we can take this congressional seat as a pre-2010 win for liberty and provide momentum and encouragement to all those liberty candidates considering running in the 2010 election. Right now I'm the only California candid ate listed on
http://RetakeCongress.com and http://RonPaulRepublican..... Together we can change that and work to have a Congress that understands their constitutional role.
If you can spare ANY volunteer time doing ANYTHING for us, please contact me at

Gary Clift
I also ask that you please donate to the money bomb at
http://CliftMoneyBomb.com It is scheduled for August 14th, 2009
And while you're at it - vote for Gary to appear on Judge Andrew Napalitano's Freedom Watch!
Mike Shanklin - the libertarian activist is trying to get Gary on the show for something we can get done now. Not 2010 or 2012, this is something we can do now.
Long Live The Revolution!
And thanks for fighting the good fight at my side.

The Raw Story Is America building a purely military economy? Industrial production down 20%.
Durable-goods shipments - a basic measure of industrial production - fell by more than 20 % during this recession, and would have declined further were it not for increased production of weapons."
In the past nine years, non-industrial production in the US has declined by some 19 %.
It took about four years for manufacturing to return to levels seen before the 2001 recession -- and all those gains were wiped out in the current recession
Military manufacturing is now 123 % greater than it was in 2000
The military now takes about 8 % of all durable goods, up from 3 percent in 2000.
The military budget for 2009, not including the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, is $651 billion, up 11 percent from the $583 billion spent on the military in 2008
The Iraq and Afghanistan wars are estimated, separately, to cost $150 billion per year.
